Sakthi Radiographic Inspection Company. Quality. Delivered. Four decades of inspection excellence.
Sakthi Radiographic Inspection Company (SRICO) has been a forerunner in the field of NDT since 1985, built on a single motive: the finest quality, every time.
The company had a modest beginning inside the premises of M/s. Kartik Steels Ltd, with one gamma ray camera, two people on roll, and the technical conviction of our founder, Sri M. Gopinath. After his demise in 2001, the reins passed to Smt. Vasantha Gopinath, under whose stewardship SRICO continues to grow into newer horizons.
Today we are specialists in Radiographic Testing of both castings and welded joints using Ir-192, Co-60 and X-ray sources, supported by Ultrasonic Testing, Magnetic Particle Testing, Fluorescent MPI and Local Stress Relieving.
SRICO is an AERB-licensed radiography agency, an ISO 9001:2015 certified organisation, registered with the Indian Boiler Regulations Board since July 1994, and an approved NDT agency for BHEL Trichy and BHEL Ranipet.
To build long-lasting customer relationships through the latest technology, the finest quality and rapid delivery.
In turn, we strive towards excellence in every aspect of NDT, from the first exposure to the final, upgraded casting.
Every operation conducted strictly per Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB) guidelines.
A technically sound team of NDT engineers with three decades of professional experience.
Two units and in-house upgradation to keep your components moving, not waiting.
Quality, technical excellence and customer trust: the three pillars of SRICO.
Gone are the days when quality testing stopped with an NDT report. Testing plus upgrade is the need of the hour, and SRICO delivers both under one roof.
Castings and welded joints examined with Ir-192 and Co-60 sources. Approved by BHEL for pressure and non-pressure parts at outsourcing works.
250 kV X-ray radiography for aluminium castings to ASTM E155, giving finer sensitivity on thin and light-alloy sections.
Flaw detection and thickness evaluation on plates, forgings, castings and weldments using a five-probe Microscan-10 set.
Surface and near-surface defect detection on ferromagnetic components, with 1000 A yokes and fluorescent inspection capability.
Full-fledged facility with qualified welders for upgradation of carbon steel, alloy steel and stainless steel castings: welding, grinding and gauging.
Carried out under the purview of the Indian Boiler Regulations, 1950, as covered by our Directorate of Boilers firm registration.
Because our radiography enclosures and our welding, grinding and gauging bays sit inside the same facility, a rejected casting does not travel. It is repaired and re-shot on site, compressing turnaround from weeks to days.
Unit-II, Renganathapuram, Dindigul. As part of equipping ourselves for the industry's shift from pure inspection to inspection-plus-repair, we built our own radiography setup with upgradation facilities.
Our NDT service unit at the SIPCOT Industrial Complex, Ranipet, serves foundries and engineering manufacturers across the region, and is the base for our BHEL-approved radiography work.
Between them, our Ranipet and Dindigul units operate six gamma projectors, a 250 kV X-ray unit and a full casting upgradation bay, so inspection, repair and re-inspection stay with a single accountable team.
